A Schedule and a Thank You

I haven't posted what I've been up to lately because I'll be honest to say I have been up to no good in regard to my eating.  I'm in my last trimester of nursing school, and my schedule has been packed.  This has lead to a lot of convenience meals and quick grabs of whatever I can find in the house... and typically I want to grab the bad instead of the good.

I was reading Weight Watcher's Magazine last night and found a great tip about scheduling out your food like you would your day.  Since I'm great with schedules, I thought I would give this a try.  So, last night I sat down at the computer and wrote out exactly what I would be eating for a day to stay within my Weight Watcher's Points.  It's only the morning of the first day, but I'm really excited.  I already know what I'm having for lunch, dinner and possible snacks for today.

I also decided to schedule my exercise for today as well.  I have a great 2 mile hilly road that I like to run, so I was out of bed at 6:00 a.m. ready to run!  Unfortunately, it was raining and I hate running or walking in the rain.  A light sprinkle is nice, but a downpour is not.  I looked at my running partner:

Who would have been thrilled to go either way, but I decided against it.  The smell of wet dog running around the house is not a good one.  So I improvised and turned on Exercise On Demand and pulled up a 2 mile Leslie Sansone video and went to town.  I wrote it on my calendar (my exercise log) like Mary said here.

That's one thing I did on WW. Schedule out my meals for the day. I found I had so much more success when I did that. I used those "sticky notes" on my laptop to schedule out everything the night/day before. You can do this!!
